Directions to Conference Residence
A map of the BU campus is located here.
Look for 10 Buick Street (44) on the
map under Major Residences. This is the location of the newly-constructed
residential housing at BU. A localized map
is also available in pdf.
From the Airport:
a) subway: take the free shuttle from any terminal to the subway (T)
station. Take the Line (Blue) inbounds to Goverment Station and switch
to Green Line (B) toward Park Street Station. Exit at St.
Paul Street stop (overground). Buick Street should be in front of you
looking toward to the river.
b) taxicab: instruct the driver to take you to BU on Commonweath Ave
and drop you at the 10 Buick Street.
c) renting a car: drive through the airport tunnel to Boston. Take
I-93 North exit (quite confusing, but that's Big Dig!). Take Storrow Dr.
exit and drive West to Copley Square exit. Turn right at stop light (Beacon
St.). Continue on Beacon Street until you come to a large square (Kenmore
Square). The road connects to other roads and splits into several offsprings.
Bear right and remain courageous! The right split is Commonwealth Ave just
after the Square. Drive on Comm. Ave (BU is to your right and left) until
you get to Buick Street on your right.
From I-93 or I-95 (interstate highways):
take MassPike (I-90) (this is a toll road) and exit at Cambridge/Allston
exit (pay fare). Drive toward Cambridge and turn right to Storrow Drive
(river is on your left). Exit at Boston University exit and make the first
right on Commonweath Ave. Turn right on Buick Street. The residence is
at 10 Buick Street. There is a parking lot where you can park (pay parking
$10 per rnight).
Directions to ITAMP:
To get to ITAMP, you can take Green Line B (inbounds)
to Park Street (from Commonwealth Ave), and change to Red Line (Alewife)
and exit at Harvard Square Station (4th stop). The fee is $1.00. ITAMP
is located within a 15-minute walk West from the Harvard Square, or you
can take buses 72, 74, or 78 and exit at the Observatory Hill stop. The
fee is $0.75. A local map
is located on the ITAMP website.
