Recent and Upcoming Events

Jan. 28		NRAO Design Review including Greenhill in Socorro and 
		Blundell, Tong, Kimberk, and Leiker at SAO via video.
		Permission received to proceed with field testing.

Mar. 7		Planned arrival of prototype equipment at NRAO.

Mar. 9		Planned mount on first VLA antenna.

Mar. 16		Planned mount on second VLA antenna.

Notes and Details

An FM station has been licensed for the Magdalena area ~ 20 km from the VLA.  
The second harmonic of the transmission is inside our passband, almost at the 
frequency of the HI line for one target quasar.  It will be necessary to 
contact the FCC and the licensee to discuss plans and to develop plans for 
mitigation.
