Composition/Term:
Each Division is represented by at least one member. Members
are usually appointed in June by the Director for three academic
years, with reappointment allowed and with expiration terms
staggered appropriately. The Chairperson is appointed by the
Director for two academic years, with reappointment possible.
Charge
To conduct searches for the best available candidates for
Federal scientist positions at SAO when such openings exist
and to develop an ordered list of candidates for the Director to review.
