Instructions for Session Chairpersons
Session Chairpersons should contact presenters in her/his session at least one hour prior to the session, and inform the speaker about the time available for speaking and the
time to be left for discussion. The speakers should be reminded that the slides will be advanced by the projectionist as requested verbally by the speaker. The Chair should
contact the projectionist 20 minutes prior to the start of the session (for speakers scheduled before the break) and 20 minutes prior to the end of the mid-session break Instructions for the Poster Session
Each poster should be no larger than 4 ft x 4 ft (120 cm x 120 cm). The conference organizers will provide pushpins for mounting the posters.
Posters will be up for the entire meeting starting from 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 22nd, and they should be taken down by 12 noon on Friday, September 25th. There will be specific times made available for viewing the posters during the morning/afternoon breaks and at other times to be identified in the final conference agenda. Participants are expected to attend to their poster for at least part of each day. Instructions for the Poster Session
Each poster should be no larger than 4 ft x 4 ft (120 cm x 120 cm). The conference organizers will provide pushpins for mounting the posters.

(for speakers scheduled after the break) to ensure that all presentations are loaded into either the Conference PC or Conference Macintosh computer. The Chair should begin
the session by calling it to order and summarizing the subject and talks of the session. The Chair should introduce each speaker and state the title of her/his talk. The
chair should assist the speaker with the clip-on microphone. During the talk, the Chair should inform the speaker when he/she has 5, 3 and 1 minute remaining in the speaking
time. Following the presentation, the Chair should state the amount of time remaining for questions and then preside over the session until the time has expired. Additional
time for discussion will be provided on the last morning of the meeting.
Instructions for Presenters
Oral presentations are expected to be files composed on either Windows
machines (Vista, XP, or Windows2000) in Microsoft Power Point or Adobe Acrobat, or on Macintosh in Microsoft Power Point, Adobe Acrobat or Apple Keynote. In order for the
presentations to go smoothly, each Presenter must provide his/her presentation, including all associated files, on a USB Drive at least 40 minutes prior to the start
of his/her session (for speakers scheduled before the break) and 40 minutes before the end of the mid-session break (for speakers scheduled after the break).
Each presentation will be transferred to and previewed on Conference provided computers to insure compatibility.
A projectionist will be present to operate the equipment and advance the slides when requested to do so by the speaker.
A clip-on microphone will be provided.
Each presenter should inform the Session Chair of his/her presence at least 1 hour prior to the
