Preparing for Early Science with ALMA

The CfA is hosting a day-long meeting to help inform the local community about
the exciting new scientific opportunities available to them when the
ALMA
interferometer begins routine
Early Science (Cycle 0) observations in October. The meeting is open to
anyone at the CfA or other institutions that is interested in ALMA.
Participants may attend for the full day or for any part
of the day, including the coffee breaks and Q&A/discussion sessions. There is
no registration fee, but please
register your name and email address online if you plan to
participate.
The program includes a mix of science talks focused
on future work with ALMA and practical information sessions related to ALMA
capabilities, tools, and proposal prepartion.
