Title: Astrophysical Jets
Speaker: Mario Livio
Abstract: Recent observations which reveal new classes of astrophysical objects which produce highly collimated jets will be reviewed, together with recent theoretical developments in models for jet formation. It will be shown that the rich phenomenology can be used to place meaningful constraints on theoretical models. Critical observations that can test the models will be suggested.
