OBSPLANNER: Minor Planet Observation Planner
With the introduction of numerous large-field professional CCD search programs in the past few years, the necessity of OBSPLANNER as originally planned has diminished greatly. With the introducution of the new webserver, it has been decided that the effort required to port OBSPLANNER is "too much for too little return" given the MPC's current resources. Noting that some observers may wish this service to continue in some form, options have been added to the Minor Planet Checker to allow observers to select only those nearly-numberable unnumbered objects.
