This workshop will bring together experimentalists and theorists working on cold, trapped Group II atomic species. This is a sequel to similar workshops at ITAMP in 2000 and in Copenhagen in 2003. Cold atomic gases or lattices of these species have applications in areas such as precise time and frequency measurements, quantum degenerate bosonic or fermionic gases, cold molecule formation, or quantum information.
