WE INVITE YOU to stay with us during your visit to Cambridge/Boston. If it's a "quiet country" feeling you are looking for with convenience to public transportation, consider the Hancock House. We are a private home just minutes from Harvard Square and only twenty minutes from historical downtown Boston. The Hancock House is located on a quiet, residential street in Somerville, one block from Porter Square's MBTA Red Line station. Limited off street parking is available with advance notice. The two private guest rooms available for short term rental are decorated in an antique country motif using handcrafted works of art from around the world and each has a TV. High speed wireless internet is available in all the rooms. Please remember to bring your cell phones as there isn't a phone in the room. We have created a home away from home whether you are in Boston for business or vacation. These guest rooms are located on the second floor of the house and share their own private entrance, bath and kitchen. *The entire house is non-smoking. The Guest Rooms A 25% deposit is required in advance and is non-refundable if canceled within two weeks of arrival.  Room Weekly Monthly Parking  Sunrise Room 1-2 persons A queen size handcrafted cherry bed, goose down comforter, a separate dressing area, a large work table and windows opening to the east. $375 $1,200 With advance notice  Sunset Room 1 person A single room with Gutman Lithographs, photographs of the underwater world and the afternoon sunlight make this room a peaceful hideaway. $300 $1050 With advance notice   Payment Personal check, travelers checks or cash.
