The Center for Parallel Astrophysical Computing (CPAC) is a division of the Harvard University Astronomy Department dedicated to research in high-end astrophysical computing. Headed by Professor Lars Hernquist, CPAC consists of postdocs, graduate students, and associates at other institutions. Since its founding in the spring of 2000, the members of CPAC have helped contribute to the current state-of-the-art in parallel astrophyscial computing.
