     The linked orbit above is based upon a successful linkage of the
1954 and 2003 observations by A. Lowe.  Lowe's solution fitted both
1954 Nov. 11 observations with residuals of +/- 6".  These observations
have long been known to be problematic.  The above solution includes one
of these observations, further observations at the current apparition
will show whether this choice was justified.
