A Bayesian Method for Reduction of Hectochelle Spectra

I will present technical details of a new pipeline designed for reduction of Hectochelle spectra of individual stars. The pipeline fits a 15-parameter (including velocity, Teff, [Fe/H], [alpha/iron], log g) model to extracted 1-D spectra. With 3x45-minute exposures, velocity measurements are accurate to ~100 m/s at g ~ 18 mag and ~1 km/s at g ~ 21 mag. I will also present first science results, including the detection of three stellar streams (tidally disrupted Galactic satellites) in a single Hectochelle field.
