June 9-10, 2014
Conference Website
Celebrating 10 years of research with the SMA and looking forward to the future, this conference focuses on submillimeter-wavelength science at high angular resolution. Topics to be covered include star formation, proplanetary disks, nearby and distant galaxies, magnetic fields in the interstellar medium, high-energy and time-variable phenomena, the galactic center, the solar system, and submillimeter instrumentation.

SMA Joins Upcoming "Around the World in 80 Telescopes" Webcast Site no longer available.
As one of the major observatories, the Submillimeter Array was invited to, and has signed up to, participate in 'Around the World in Eighty Observatories'. This is a 24-hour web-cast organized by ESO as part of
the 100 Hours of Astronomy Global Cornerstone Project to celebrate the
International Year of Astronomy, 2009.

CfA SMA Science Symposium 2009
There will be a one day CfA SMA Science Symposium on Wednesday, April 15,
2009, in Phillips Auditorium. Anyone at the CfA may attend for the full day
or any part of the day. More information and abstract submission

SMA Image Contest 2009
The Submillimeter Array (SMA) announces its first Image Contest. Much like the
annual NRAO "Radio Astronomy Imaging Contest", the purpose of this contest is
to gather visually compelling images based on SMA data from the SMA user
community to be used for a variety of purposes, including public outreach.
