Hi Claudia,
    The flag-code assigned for options if1 was somehow no longer
recognized by the updated Miriad kernel. It took me a while to find
out the problem. I have updated the beta version 1.1.3.
The updated smasplt in the new tarball smaMiriad09Dec2010.tar.gz
should work for options=if1.
