Hi Typler,
     I think so. smaTask is the general miriad tasks plus features for
SMA specifications (most for correlator configuration related issues and
handling high-frequency data with low S/N in calibration). For example,

smagpplt = gpplt + features (1) plot bandpass solutions color-coded for
SMA chunks, (2) merge gain solutions from two calibrators and so on.

smamfcal = mfcal + features (1) smooth or polynomial interpolation the
spectral data prior to solve for bandpass, (2) a few choices for
weighting the data prior to solve the bandpass and etc.

type "help smaTask" under Miriad prompt, one could see the details from
the inline doscumentation along with each tasks. smaTasks are part
of Miriad and eventually will be integrated back to Miriad as we did
for the 2GHz system.
