Dear Berengere,
We haven't have Ubuntu yet. We should have Ubuntu
binary as soon as we setup our new desktop here. Meanwhile
please try if you can compile SMA miriad with Ubuntu OS.
Please let us know if you see any problems.

The version 4.?? is the Miriad general distribution (or Miriad-CVS)
in which we supported SMA components for our old correlator
(2008 and before).

The version 1.?? is a beta version that has been
developed for supporting SMA doubleband system. Since the
SMA internal data structure was changed for the doubleband
system, patches were needed to handle SMA data with Miriad.
We were asked to temporarily separate the SMA Miriad development
from Miriad general distribution. Here is a link
(http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/sma/miriad/download/README.html)
which gives the hystory of SMA beta distribution.

    Jun-Hui
