Hi Glen,
The MIriad libraries on the obsconh installation (/sma/local/miriad_cvs/lib/linux) seemed to be out of date.
I have updated them and made a test on the latest data file 140211_10:25:20 under /sma/rtdata/science/mir_data/
The obsconh should work again; please let me know if the problem persists.

    Jun-Hui

    Hi Jun-Hui

I did not want to file an "official bug report" since I suspect the problem is something that happened while you were here.

I can no long load any data in MIRIAD using our (only working) obsconh installation. I noticed it was not working the day after you left, but we've had such bad weather I wanted to wait until we got some OK data before reporting it not working.

smalod just stops (it does not core dump, or seg fault). It looks like I am still using the previous working version of smalod, but it just stops after printing the observing date.

Any help is appreciated. Please let me know if I should file an official bug report for the records.

    Cheers and thanks
    Glen
