Subject: Re: SMA Data Reduction Software Meeting

Hi Glen,

Here are relevant inline document for smalod regarding the first
channel (or ch0):

smalod% help
Task: smalod
Responsible: Jun-Hui Zhao
SMALOD is a MIRIAD task, which converts the standard SMA data
format to Miriad format. It also automatically selects SMA
doubleband patch for handling 4GHz data.
Keyword: in
Name of the input MIR file.
         There is no default.
Keyword: out
Name of the output Miriad uv data-set. No default.
         ...
Keyword: options
         ...
'flagch0' The default is to flag ch0 data in 4GHz data mode.

         ...

If you used the default in loading data with SMALOD, the
first channel is flagged. This may explain the problem that you
had in making image with "invert" for the first channel.
