Subject: Wiki page for new SMA data file format

 Dear SMA Data Involvee,
I have added a new page to the SMA Wiki here:

http://sma1.sma.hawaii.edu/internal/wiki/page/view.html?name=Proposed%20new%20SMA%20data%20file%20format

It contains the detailed specifications for the new MIR format
data structures we will write when the Interim Correlator becomes
available (whether directly, or via a translator if we adopt the
ALMA/CASA format). The page only lists the structures which will change.
It contains a link to the Wiki page that documents all existing
structures, including those which will not change. On this new
page all changes are flagged with a string starting with "CHANGED" and
the entire string is in a bold, underlined font.

Note that in addition to dropping some variables that we are currently
not using, I'm proposing that we drop two variables, form[4] and
nbyt_pack, that contain either unchanging values (form[4]) or completely
redundant values (nbyt_pack). Both of these are elements of the sch_read
file, the file which holds the actual visibilities, and the only file
which has variable-length records.

Please let me know if you see any problems with this new format, or if
you would like to see additional changes made.
