Subject: Follow-up of IDL/MIR meeting for SMA
Time: 10-11am (EDT) on Friday (09/28/2012)
Place: M 240, 160 Concord ave, Cambridge, MA
Conference line: 866-423-2310, passcode ****** (ask SMA for passcode)
Agenda:
1. Lower-level errors (segfaults)
Charlie Qi has updated IDL/MIR using the latest version of SMA beta Miriad,
providing usage to start idl2miriad.
Does this update fix the low-level errors (segfaults) caused by using obsolete versions of Miriad?
Any other bugs?
Bug report for further bugs: using MIRIAD BUG REPORT FORM?
2. High-level problems
These problems are caused by usages and inconsistent variables. Maintaining
updated guiding documentations would resolve the issue.
MIR Cookbook for users' data reduction in IDL/MIR (Charlie Qi).
Programmer guide for IDL/MIR programming?
The variable checking routine in SMA beta can be disabled: see
response to Vivien Chen and Eric Keto's bug report on invert
Does this option work?
3. Version control (coordinating the software distribution)
