MIR uses 'p' to tell if it is a passband cal and 'g' to tell if it is a gain cal. It can be potentially used for an automatic
calibration.

Also, within MIR multiple flags can be set. Is that also possible within
CASA? For example, Titan can be set as a primary flux calibrator '1' and
as a complex gain calibrator 'g' if so desired, or if someone was using
3C279 as a gain calibrator 'g' it could also be set as a passband calibrator
'p'. At this point I don't think MIR actually *uses* the flags except for
'g'. Charlie can tell us more...

In the past I've seen the flux calibrator flag set I'm pretty sure.

In addition, within MIR the 'g' flag is used/updated when sources are
used for complex gain calibration. So, we *do* use them in analysis,
and they are easy to change (in MIR at least) so I'd be in favor of
having them set in scripts also.
