Basic Information on tpgains

Task: tpgains
Purpose: Estimate antenna gains from total power measurements.
Categories: tpower, antenna gains

Key: vis
Name of input visibility data file. No default.

Key: again
`again' gives an antenna amplitude factor as a function
         again * sqrt(total_power/systemp)
Default value 0. gives no amplitude change.

Key: rgain
`rgain' gives an antenna amplitude factor as a function
         rgain * sqrt(systemp/total_power)
Default value 0. gives no amplitude change.

Key: pgain
`pgain' gives the antenna phase change with total power in
degrees/Kelvin. Default value is 0. i.e. No phase change.
Typical value at 100 GHz is pgain = -280 degrees/K.

Key: scale
Scale total power to tsys [K]. Default no scaling applied.
Three values for each antenna: tpower = a + b*tpower + c*tpower**2
These values can be obtained by editing the log file from VARFIT
E.g. varfit vis=? xaxis=tpower refant=1 options=xscale log=varlog
The quadratic term is currently ignored.

Key: refant
Compute the antenna gains relative to refant.
The gain of refant is set to cmplx(1.,0.). Default=0. no refant.

Key: out
Name of output calibration file. The default is to write the gain
corrections into the input visibility file.
