A Close Look at the Solar Corona

We will present a detailed look at some of the recent results from the Hi-C sounding rocket flight. Using Hi-C and other satellite and ground-based data, we examine the braided and twisted structures observed by Hi-C and their dynamics, the transient loop brightenings and their properties and their possible significance, and a close look at the connection between loop heating events seen in hot EUV channels and the associated transient effects seen in Hi-C.
