	SCI_SPEC: Characterization of an Equatorial Coronal Hole.
                  Goal is to measure the properties of a mid-latitude 
		  coronal hole. In particular we are interested in the 
		  coronal conditions (intensities and line widths for 
	 	  HI Ly-alpha and OVI 1032/1037) as a function of height 
		  and latitude. We will compare these properties with 
		  the ones found in polar coronal holes.

 	3) UVCS Placed in Safe Configuration for Proton Storm

	Sequence: Manual

	SCI_SPEC: At approximately 14:30 UT 15 April 2001, SOC was
		  alerted that a solar flare had occurred and proton 
		  levels were rising.  By the time commander for the 
		  week was notified, UVCS thresholds had already been 
		  exceeded.  Instrument Operations Coordinator was
		  called immediately, and UVCS was placed in Safe 
		  configuration.
