Detector High Voltage remains ramped down and turned off instrument is rolled to nominal East (35156 Engineering Units). The Mirror stays at 1.5 Solar Radii with 1.5 mm overocculting. UVCS Aperture Door is opened at this time, Internal Mirror / Occulter Heater set to 0% duty cycle (255). OVI Detecor Timing and Charge Thresholds set. FOT told to continue to use UVCS ESR Limit Set. FOT component of UVCS recovery, including enabling of the ESR Warning at 16:45 UT and Experiment Offpoint Flags at, 16:48 UT, and the TSU Substitution Heater (Circuit #84) OFF completed at approximately 16:51 UT UVCS NRT portion of recovery begins at approximately 17:00 UT. Long pause in NRT due to "emergency" NASCOM router maintenance touted to have "no impact" on ops. Note: Recovery times (below) are approximate. Second test involves sending UCMDPAN (nominal PATROL command) and UCMDPAR (redundant PATROL command) while UVCS is in STBY mode. Third test involves sending UCMDPAN (nominal PATROL command) and UCMDPAR (redundant PATROL command) while UVCS is in OPS mode.
