I am an Astrophysicist at the
Smithsonian Astrophysical
Observatory, part of the
Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, and I am also a
Lecturer in the
Astronomy Department of
Harvard University.
My main research interests are (1)
circumstellar disks and the formation of planets, and
(2) the development of aperture synthesis techniques.
Much of my science program is associated with the
Submillimeter Array
near the summit of
Mauna Kea, Hawaii.
