Near Infrared (NIR) image of the barred Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 2273
(Mulchaey \etal\ 1997). Visible in the nucleus are isophotal twists
which may be evidence for an inner bar capable of transporting material
inside the Inner Lindblad Resonance where it can fuel the Seyfert
Activity. The axes labels are offsets (in arcsecs), and the box marks
the region shown in Fig. 2b. Contour levels
start at 17 K mag/arcsec2 and increase in 0.5 mag steps (1"
= 120 pc for D=24.5 Mpc).
