I write software for the Central Engineering Department of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory .

Currently I'm is assigned to the Optical and Infrared Astronomy Division where I work on the data and control systems for new instrumentation to be installed on the Multiple Mirror Telescope since it upgraded to a single 6.5 meter mirror.
