To allow proper citations of telescope use, AAS journals now have facilities keywords. The AAS page at the UCPress website describes the facilities keywords for LaTex manuscripts.

MMT

Published papers using MMT data should include one of the following bylines.

a. Observations reported here were obtained at the MMT Observatory, a joint facility of the Smithsonian Institution and the University of Arizona.

b. Observations reported here were obtained at the MMT Observatory, a joint facility of the University of Arizona and the Smithsonian Institution.

Also, please send a preprint or email to Barbara Russ (bruss@mmto.org) with the title of the paper, author list, and submitted journal
