The UltraViolet Coronagraph Spectrometer (UVCS) on SOHO

observes the corona of the sun from 1.3 Ro (1.3 solar radii) out to 10.0 Ro.
Among the phenomenon observed by the instrument are
Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) and comet entering the corona.
