List of CMBFAST parameters

Parameters in italics correspond to those used in the iargc option. When run interactively these parameters are entered as answers to questions.

Cosmological parameters

wdyn   Equation of state for the dark energy component
Omega_b, Omega_c, Omega_de,Omega_nu   baryons, CDM, Dark Energy and massive neutrino 
 contributions to the energy density
H0  Hubble constant in km/sec/Mpc
Tcmb  Present CMB temperature
Y_He  Helium abundance
N_nu(massless) (= annur)  Number of massless neutrinos
N_nu (massive) (= annunr)  Number of Massive neutrinos
g*(massive)  g* (number of relativistic degrees of freedom)  when 
massive neutrinos decouple
n (= an)  scalar spectral index
alpha_n=dn/dlnk (= alphans)  running of the scalar spectral index
nt (= ant)  tensor spectral index
alpha_nt=dn/dlnk
running of the tensor spectral index
rat  tensor to scalar ratio
optdlss  Optical depth to the last scattering surface
zri redshift of reionization
rfi ionization fraction after reionization

Other  parameters

 
initfl  Type of initial conditions 1 for adiabatic, 2 for Isocurvature, etc 
ict ict=0 for cmb alone, 1 for transfer function alone and 2 for both
lmax Maximum l to be calculated
ketamax (= akamax0 )  Sets maximum value of k used,  k_max=ketamax/tau0 with tau0 the  current conformal time [Mpc-1 ]
akamaxt   maximum k for transfer function calculations [Mpc-1 ]
nlnkt  number of ks per log interval were the transfer function is computed 
ntf   number of redshifts were the Transfer function is  outputed
 z  array containing redshifts at which the Transfer function is outputed
ftf array containing filename of the transfer function outputs
quin  quin=0 for a cosmological constant, quin=1 for quintessence
itflag 0 for scalar alone, 1 for tensor and scalar, 2 for
tensor alone 3 for k< k_* scalar and 4 for k > k_* scalar

ant  number of different tensor power spectra to run
