The POINTS figures were originally AutoCAD drawings, created by Don Noon at
JPL. They were imported into the 3D CAD program SilverScreen, modified and
rearranged into various poses, and exported in DXF format. Bob Babcock's
software converted the DXF file into a "raw" file, making some necessary
adjustments.
RAW2POV
by Steve Anger converted the raw file to an input file for the
Persistence of Vision raytracer
(both are copyrighted freeware). Renderings were done on a DEC Alpha and converted
from Targa to GIF or JPEG format using
DISPLAY by Jih-Shin Ho.
