Steven Cranmers SPD Members Resource Pages

I hope that members of the AAS Solar Physics Division (SPD) find the links and resources below useful. Most items below are links to outside web pages, but there is some original content (denoted by LOCAL). In the links, I've tried to emphasize quality over quantity by assembling URLs that are not widely known, but in some places I've found it convenient to add some ``well-known'' links in order to have a central location where I can find them easily!

I'll try to keep this page up to date, but if anyone discovers that any links below have either expired or changed, please let me know (see FEEDBACK below).

FUNDING SOURCES:

NASA and NSF are the two mainstays for American solar physicists, so most readers are probably already aware of these sites:

Many solar physicists also consider themselves something else (e.g., plasma physicists, astrophysicists, space physicists, atomic physicists), so these other U.S. Federal sources of funding may also be useful:

Non-U.S. funding sources for solar physics include the following:

Finally, if you're just starting out and haven't read the AAS's assembled Hints on Preparing Research Proposals, I strongly suggest taking a look.
