Welcome to Zhong Wang's Home Page
Here is a shortened version of my favorite
music piece (< 1/2 minute).
I am an astronomer in the Optical and Infrared (OIR)
Division at the
Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA).
I work on NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope
, previously known as the Space Infrared Telescope
Facility (SIRTF), which was launched successfully in August 2003.
Specifically, I work in the group that develops the
Infrared Array Camera (IRAC) at CfA.
In addition, I have worked on and am still working with the
Submillemeter Wave Astronomy Satellite (SWAS) project,
which was successfully launched in December 1998 and has been
in normal operations ever since.
