Deep Near-IR Images

Description

Deep near-IR images were taken to produce high-resolution extinction maps of selected regions using the NICER algorithm. We discovered that in deep enough exposures these dark clouds glow with reflected galactic light, a phenomenon we named Cloudshine. Images are available through the following links, and extinction maps will be released when they are finished.
