CfAlogo CfA FIRST-Fridays

  • FIRST-Fridays is the CfA Women in Science discussion group. We will be meeting once per month, on the first Friday of the month, for a brown bag lunch discussion of the latest topics affecting women in science, and in society in general.

Every month we will choose a topic in advance and send around some relevant information; please feel free to suggest anything you'd like to discuss!

As part of the new format we will be trying out Peggy Macintosh's method of going around the room and giving everyone the opportunity to introduce themselves and make a few remarks if they wish to.

These meetings are open to everyone at the CfA who would like to attend, so please feel free to come along!

  • Chelsea MacLeod and Elaine Winston are organizing these meetings, email Elaine and Chelsea with ideas and/or questions.
