The meeting will be in the Beckman Institute Auditorium, on the northwest section of the Caltech campus. The major cross streets are Del
Mar Avenue (running East-West) and Wilson Avenue (running North-South). The exact address is 400 S Wilson Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106. A map to this building can be found here: http://www.caltech.edu/map/beckman-institute. The reception and poster sessions will be in the Beckman Institute courtyard immediately adjacent to the building.

Getting to Campus
The hotel is 1.1 miles from Campus. In addition to walking or taxi, there is the 267/264 metro bus that takes 7 stops from Los Robles / Cordova to Del Mar / Chester. Another option is the Metro Bike Share program where there are stations right across the street from the Hilton and near the corner of San Pasqual and Wilson Avenue, that is very convenient to the Beckman Institute.
The nearest parking to the meeting venue is located on S.Wilson Street west of the Beckman Auditorium. Parking fills up by mid-day due to substantial construction efforts ongoing, so if you must park, plan to arrive early. Daily ($6) or weekly ($18) passes are available from the machines in the parking garages that you simply display on your dash. The gymnasium complex (and the Cahill Astrophysics Building), off California Blvd., will have spaces most of the day, but is further from the meeting. We will have easels up near the garages with signs to the
meeting. For more information please visit http://parking.caltech.edu/parking/visitor.
Street parking around the Hilton is quite restricted although free parking can be found several blocks south, below California Blvd. Parking on the street is restricted to two hours and efficiently enforced by the Pasadena Parking Division.
Parking at the Hilton is available as follows:
- Overnight valet parking with in/out privileges: $23/day
- Daily self parking with in/out privileges: $21/day
Thursday's excursion is to the Huntington Library and Gardens. There are day passes (stickers) for the Huntington Library and Gardens that we will pass out on Thursday (they
are small and easily lost). You will not need to check in or get tickets at the Gardens. There is food at the Huntington, right at the main entrance and dim sum at the Chinese Garden, in case you want to combine
lunch and the outing.
Thursday's dinner will be held on campus at The Athenaeum 551 S Hill Ave, Pasadena, CA 91125, http://www.caltech.edu/map/the-athenaeum with seating at 7:30pm. There will be a pre-dinner reception at the West Patio starting at 6:30pm serving beer, wine, and cold non-alcoholic drinks.
Meals are not provided outside of the Thursday dinner - this map shows some of the local area restaurants.
