HR: Employee Handbook: Notification of Personnel Action

Soon after you begin work, you should receive either a Notification of Personnel Action (SF-50) or a Personnel Notification Document (SI-650). These documents contain all the essential information about your appointment, including your title, pay, duty station, and other conditions of employment. You will receive another SF-50 or SI-650 each time your position, pay, or other essential information changes. These Personnel Actions are important documents. You should review them carefully and keep them for your records.
