For those who do not wish to stay at the Marriott Courtyard, there are, in principal, many lodging options in the Cambridge Boston Area (see the area map). A number of hotel suggestions are listed on the Lodging page. Please contact these or other hotels directly.

Cambridge is a VERY popular visitor destination in June. Hotel availability is very limited, and rates are high. BOOK EARLY.

Take the (free) Silver Line to South Station and walk downstairs to the Red Line going outbound toward Alewife. Get off at the Central Square station and walk 0.6 miles to the conference venue. The simplest route is to proceed southwest 0.5 miles on River Street to the Charles River, and turn left onto Memorial Drive. The hotel is 0.1 miles on the left. Allow a total of 45 minutes.

A taxi from Logan Airport will cost approximately $35-$40 and takes about 10 minutes.

The registration fee is $250 ($150 for students), if paid by May 7, 2014. The registration fee includes lunches on both days of the conference and one ticket to the banquet. Guest tickets to the banquet are available for $100 each.

All participants are welcome to stay before or after the meeting to tour the SMA Cambridge facilities and talk with the staff. We look forward to seeing you in Cambridge at the SMA conference!
