Miriad supports polarization observations with the SMA.
So far, circular-polarization observations using
single receivers with quarter-wave plates sample LCP and RCP in a Walsh cycle
for the SMA correlator to produce four polarized correlations
(LL, LR, RL, and RR) on each baseline.
The reduction of the polarization data produced from this mode has been
supported in Miriad .
