If you are a high school physics, astronomy, or earth science teacher, the Laboratory for the Study of Exoplanets (“ExoLab”) was designed for you!* Use this Sign Up form to request a password-protected classroom account for you and up to 45 students per classroom.
(If you have more than one classroom, you should sign up for a separate account for each classroom).
Once you submit your school and class information, your application will be reviewed by our ExoLab team, and you will receive an email within 2 days when your account is approved.
Once you are approved, use the teacher username and password you signed up with to Log In to the ExoLab, and then you will see a “Register” Link to create usernames and passwords for your students.
Be sure to download the Teacher Guides from the “For Teachers” page to learn about how to implement the ExoLab in your classroom!
*Curious individuals and informal educators may wish to visit our DIY Planet Search website, which also enables robotic telescope investigations of exoplanets, but with features optimized for citizen scientists and personalized learning.
