View Students' Findings

These graphs show the telltale dip in a star's brightness when a planet orbits in front of the star and blocks some of its light. From these "transit curves," it is possible to determine the size of the planet and the tilt of its orbit.

These authentic data represent the hard work of students nationwide. You can select a STAR, and then select from the schools that observed it. Or you can select a SCHOOL, and then see all the stars that the school investigated.

Congratulations, planet-hunters!
