If your project has Foreign National (FN) restrictions, then the lab area must be secured. No FN can have a password to a network with export controlled data.

FN should not share office space with or near persons working on export controlled projects. See the Technology Control Plan section for more details.

The DDTC licenses FNs according to their country of birth. Persons from countries listed in 126.1 are generally not authorized.

The BIS licenses FNs according to the last country of permanent resident status, if applicable. The license validity date matches their visa expiration date.
