Snell et al. made observations of the J=1-0 (at 2.7 mm) and J=2-1 lines (at 1.3 mm) of ¹²CO in the interstellar molecular cloud L1551, using the 4.9 m antenna of the Millimeter Wave Observatory and the NRAO 11 m antenna, shown below.
