Overview
CO observations of the molecular cloud L1551 by Knapp et al. (1976) and
Nachman (1979) detected high and low velocity wings. The authors argue
that the old and new observations point to a double-lobed structure
in the cloud that is centered on the infrared source IRS-5 and suggest
that the CO emisson comes from a dense shell of material which has been
swept up by a strong stellar wind from the infrared source.
