I am a PhD student in the Department of Astronomy at Harvard University, having completed a Masters in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge in 2011.  My main research interests include Stellar Evolution, Stellar Populations, and Stellar Death.

I currently work with Alicia Soderberg at Harvard University examining the properties of Type Ibc supernovae and other unusual transients found in the PanSTARRS survey.  I also collaborate with Phil Massey at Lowell Observatory using Yellow Supergiants to test the current models of massive star evolution and.  During my undergraduate at the University of Iowa I worked with Cornelia Lang on the magnetized structure of the Galactic Center.
