Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian
Welcome to my website. I am a Harvard ITC postdoctoral fellow at Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. This website outlines basic information about my research, CV and contact information.
I obtained my Integrated Master of Science (Physics) degree in 2010 from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India. I then went on to do my Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Maccio. I was then a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research before joining the CfA.
My research focuses on theoretical and numerical modeling of galaxy formation in a cosmological context. My interests include, investigating the role of various feedback processes in regulating the properties of galaxies, impact of plasma physics processes like anisotropic thermal conduction on the properties of the intra-cluster medium, the effect of stellar radiation fields on the interstellar medium of galaxies and simulating the reionization history of the Universe.
