The purpose of this symposium is to address the existing cultural split between the artistic and scientific camps. We feel that this split is a severe hindrance to the progress of our society.
The symposium is aimed to explore the nature of scientific and artistic creativity and communication. It will attempt to clarify the overlap and differences between art and science and to probe what they have to say to each other and what happens when the two are combined.
We are focusing on activities that require us to be scientific and artistic at the same time.
