The files in this directory are am model configuration files for various
astronomical observing sites, for different seasons and water vapor percentile
profiles.  They are based on climatological statistics derived from the NASA
MERRA-2 reanalysis.  For more background information and references, see the
the model for Mauna Kea presented as Example 2.5 in the am manual.

In each directory here, the file names are of the form

    site_season_percentile.amc

where site is the location; season is either "annual" for year-round
statistics or DJF for (December, January, February), MAM for (March, April,
May), etc.; and percentile is the water vapor profile percentile.  Note that
water vapor mixing ratio statistics have been computed independently for each
pressure level, without explicitly accounting for correlations between levels,
but this is expected to be realistic in the sense that the integrated PWV for
a given percentile profile will be close to the corresponding PWV percentile.
