- We have started informal meetings with visiting female
colloquium speakers and Women in Science at CfA. These meetings
will be a chance for women grad students and postdocs to talk
informally with the speaker and ask her about experiences in
academia, women's issues such as maternity leave, research topics,
applying for jobs, how to solve the
two-body problem, or anything along these lines that is of interest.
We plan to have light refreshments too!
- Jessie Christiansen and Stella Offner are
organizing these meetings, email
Jessie or
Stella with ideas
and/or questions.
